Welcome to Midpoint Winery, where tradition meets sustainability in the heart of California's Central Coast wine country. Formerly known as Rotta, the winery is just outside of Paso Robles in the Templeton Gap, where cool marine breezes, a unique terroir, and optimal sun exposure create perfect conditions.
At Midpoint, they're committed to sustainable farming practices that honor the land. The vineyards are meticulously tended, utilizing organic farming methods and dry farming techniques when able, to promote biodiversity and enhance the expression of the terroir.
As a boutique, small-production winery, Midpoint crafts exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of the vineyard and the passion of the family-owned operation and small team. Each bottle is a labor of love, showcasing the artistry and dedication that defines Midpoint Winery.

We visited Rotta Winery on a recent trip to Paso Robles. It is one of the oldest wineries in California, having been founded in 1908. The winery is set on beautiful grounds with grass and trees. There are vines on the hills all around. There is comfortable seating outside that is spaced out so you will not feel crowded. The tasting room inside is small, but nice and comfortable. Our hosts, Brian and Channing, were super. They took time to describe each wine we tasted as well as to chat and answer questions. The wines were good. I especially liked the Zinfandel and the dessert wines. We bought several bottles to take with us. Brian and Channing also gave us a lot of good information about restaurants and other places to visit in the Paso Robles area. We had a great time and plan to return soon.
Really fun to hang out here. They have some really cool swings having from a giant tree, some lawn games, and tons of hang out places. We found a great spot outside and they brought our tastings out to us!!That have an amazing Sauv Blanc. My fav was the Leather & Lace fortified Zin port.
