Welcome to Grassini Family Vineyards, where sustainable winemaking meets a rich family legacy. Inspired by Articondo Grassini's dedication to gardening and wine, our vineyard thrives with the support of multiple generations. Located in Happy Canyon, our vineyard benefits from optimal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
Guided by Jeff Newton and Larry Finkle, our vineyard, managed by Ben Merz, and his dedicated crew, produces exceptional wines reflecting the unique terroir of Santa Ynez Valley. Our 17th-century-inspired winery, embedded in a hillside with cooling caves, showcases reclaimed antique fir and operates entirely on solar power.
"Patience is a Necessary Ingredient of Genius." Our vineyard team, led by Bradley Long, ensures personal attention to each vine, resulting in wines with soft tannins and balanced structure. Fermented separately, our red and white wines spend ample time in barrel, expressing the unique character of our estate.

We got 3 bottles as a gift. First off, it’s now been 25 minutes and we still don’t have the bottle open as they use wax rather than a cork or a screw cap. It’s not coming off in one piece. We literally have pieces of wax all over the counter. Disaster. Why do this? Excessive risk of wax getting in to the wine. Idiocy.
We enjoyed our wine tasting experience and all of the wines we sampled -- white, rose, and red. The tasting staff was very friendly and personable and shared about the vineyard and personal stories about their wine making experience. The grounds include a pond with picnic tables.
Beautiful, peaceful location for a private event. Spent several hours here today. Wow!
