Dreamcôte Wine Co. stands as a boutique, small-production winery dedicated to crafting unique, experimental wines and hard ciders. With an initial focus on a vibrant, off-dry Riesling, Dreamcôte has evolved to produce a 1000 cases of wines and ciders, embracing a less traditional approach.
This winery's sandbox of experimentation includes carbonic fermentation with unconventional varietals such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cab Franc, and Gamay. Undisgorged pét-nat bubbles and bottle-fermented cider, featuring farm-grown fruit, hops, and herbs from Ballard, exemplify their commitment to innovation—a departure from the mainstream.
Dreamcôte's ethos centers on a casual, low-sulfur, low-alcohol philosophy, perfect for pairing with everyday dishes like burgers, tomato sandwiches, and improvised soups. Emphasizing a consume-within-24-months approach, they discourage cellaring for special occasions, urging enthusiasts to seize the moment. Great wine and great people. You’ll find some unique stuff here you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re passing through or spending the day in Los Olivos you have to stop by Dreamcote.
Unique unique wines ! You know there are plenty of tasting rooms all over Santa ynez area and if you have been to a few you are pretty much tasting different versions or blends of the similar types of the usual suspects! Here, however your tastebuds are introduced to a whole new world of awesomeness. I tried some amazing carbonic wines and some had a very earthy flavor which was uniquely refreshing from the typical flavors or blends.Our server was awesome too! She explained the story behind every wine as well as played an awesome playlist. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely weather with some great wines after the tasting menu. I think this has to be our favorite after trying a whole lot of tasting rooms in the area. Give it a shot if you are up for something fun and new 🙂

This is an amazing place for a wine tasting. The wine was good but what made the experience was the staff! My friends and I had a great time chatting with Sam - she was really knowledgeable and fun! We’ll be back again sometime soon.
Dreamcote! What a wonderful little place that has become mine and my girlfriends favorite stop in all of the Sante Ynez and Solvang areas. We never would have thought that with all of the large vineyards surrounding the quaint little town of Los Olivos that our favorite place would be tucked away off the main road.We have gone every visit we have up north from our home in LA, and each time we find ourselves still visiting twice or more each trip to this little place. The wine is adventurous and fun, but only beaten out by its even more impressive team. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Marteen, Marissa, and the owner Brit. Each with a energetic fun attitude and an even greater enthusiasm for their love of their wine. Tolkien fans need to ask about Marteen's tattoo.This place also creates amazing cider! However you have to act fast because supply does not! While you are their, the sparkling wines are amazing but we were lucky enough to grab a bottle of "Boat on a Goat" before they were all gone. The bottle that made us life long fans.If I haven't gushed enough, they also have a lovely section of unique oddities to purchase from mounted antlers, alters, soaps, candles, jewelry, and of course my favorite witchcraft/pagan/celtic/norse like products! Guaranteed not cursed.I used a mat that I bought for my own little setup and it currently helps the skull stop whispering at 3am! No more nyquil for my sleepless nights. My last visit I purchased a lantern that I am excited to fill with a scented candle, to maybe scare away the 7 ft tall corrupted old god that lives in my closet next to the self improvement books. Spoiler, the old god refuses to read the books.Dreamcote is a must go for any enthusiast of wine, adventurer, and downright playful human being.The owner also has bees. Bees are badass.
Absolutely my favorite tasting room in Los Olivos! Grab a stump is the first you hear when you walk in and are invited to grab a seat at the bar. Fun people making the wine tasting relaxed, fun and lively. Our group had a blast and had a great time! The G.O.A.T. is delish and coloring labels was the beginning of a new trend hahaha
