In the hands of Sam and Shawnda, owners of the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe and Bernat Winery, winemaking is not just a craft; it's a way of life. Since 1995, their endeavor has revolved around sharing the fruits of our labor, quite literally. As a boutique producer, Bernat's CCOF-certified vineyard, less than a mile from the cafe, epitomizes their commitment to organic, hands-on viticulture. Truly a family vineryard, their children, raised amidst the vines, partake in the daily devotion, witnessing the cyclical dance of seasons and contributing to harvests.
