Embark on Asuncion Ridge's captivating adventure, rooted in Michael Dilsaver's introduction to wine through Master Sommelier Yvonne Rich. Their friendship led to wine educational dinners in Altadena, California. Philip Krumal, a BMW Finance Manager with a passion for cooking, joined in 1995, cultivating a lasting bond.
United by a love for wine, fun times, and exceptional food, Yvonne's wine adventures inspired Michael and Philip to look into the wine industry. Identifying Paso as their ideal destination, they moved in 2000, marking the genesis of their winemaking venture.
As Philip honed his skills, they created the Asuncion Ridge brand in 2005, initially focusing on Pinot Noir. Over two decades, it has diversified into white wines, Rosé, and red blends. The winery, nestled in Willow Creek District on Peachy Canyon, is a haven for family, friends, and wine enthusiasts.
For Philip and Michael, the wine industry is a celebration of wine, food, and joyful moments, enriching lives in Paso Robles' wine country. Welcome to Asuncion Ridge, where each experience enhances your palate and represents the essence of wine country life.

Very nice wines. Very competent persons. The Lascivious red is a masterpiece.
Loved the wines here, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Michael was very helpful, and after trying the 3 Sum Zinfandel, we had to sign up for a wine club to get more.
What a charming little winery! Hidden just within the canyon, John's winery is not only small and quaint, but the wine is delicious. The Inception and 3 sum wines were my favorites, and I actually brought bottles home because out of all the wineries in Paso, these were the best! I brought them as a gift to my husband and he was very impressed with the wine and now wants to go visit!

What a fantastic find! The red blends are bold and delicious, and the gentleman working the tasting room was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to chat with as we tasted the menu. Should Asuncion ever decide to acquire the license to ship wines to Virginia, we would immediately join the club (hint hint!).
