Clos Solene
Boutique
Nestled in Paso Robles' Willow Creek District, Clos Solène reflects Guillaume and Solène's intertwined path into winemaking. Guillaume's early fascination evolved into a lifelong passion, culminating in formal education in Oenology and Viticulture. His path led him to California, where he met Solène, sparking a love story intertwined with their devotion to wine. In 2007, they founded Clos Solène, driven by Guillaume's vision and Solène's unwavering trust.
In 2017, their pursuit of a vineyard came to fruition with the acquisition of Pipestone Vineyards. This picturesque estate boasts 8 acres of vibrant vines against the backdrop of Paso Robles' scenic beauty. Their meticulous approach, from grafting vines to selecting Rhone and Bordeaux varieties, reflects their commitment to crafting exceptional wines. Guillaume's exploration of diverse terroirs on Paso Robles' west side allows him to create blends that showcase the region's unique soil types and microclimates.
Beyond their estate, Guillaume ventures to Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, enhancing their portfolio with esteemed Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay selections. Each wine is a tribute to family; their children, Clémentine, Jean, and Juliette, inspire namesakes for his cherished creations. As the family resides on their estate, every day begins with the beauty of rolling vineyards and the promise of crafting exceptional wines. With passion as their driving force, Guillaume and Solène have woven their dreams into the fabric of Clos Solène, a boutique winery that epitomizes their shared dedication to the art of winemaking.
